In May 2025 we visited Ashton Lodge Country House for the first time to capture C&J's gorgeous wedding and we had such a brilliant time. From the moment we arrived we were looked after, with the fabulous co-ordinator for the day, Emma, giving us a quick tour and bringing us coffee to kickstart the day!
We also met the lovely team at The Warwickshire Wedding Company who were in charge of styling for the day. They'd collaborated with Louise Rose Flowers who provided some beautiful fresh roses and immediately asked if we'd like some spare florals for our detail shots which was so appreciated!

After the detail shots for both Chloe and Jake, we returned all their things and spent some time with Jake, who'd arrived with his groomsmen and was getting ready upstairs. Chloe had sent him a gift to open so we captured that happening, followed by some quick candids of everyone together.

For the rest of the morning, we split our time between the bride and groom, capturing them both getting ready with their teams. It was super handy that Jake and the guys were upstairs while Chloe and her bridesmaids were in the downstairs dressing room, so we could easily jump between both depending on what was happening, along with taking photos of the ceremony room (which looked absolutely stunning) and getting our extra video angles and audio sources set up.
Finally, it was ceremony time and Chloe was dressed and ready to go. We arranged a first look between her and her two bridesmaids which had everyone in the room tearing up, followed by a sweet moment with her dad before they walked down the aisle together.

In the ceremony room, we took our places at the top of the aisle and wow, this one was probably one of the most emotional entrances we've ever witnessed. Jess, Chloe's maid of honour, was struggling to hold it together as she walked towards us and Jake was even more overcome, which of course had Amy in tears too!

Their ceremony was very sweet, with lots of laughter and plenty of tissues being used by the guests watching their loved ones tie the knot. The venue staff were brilliant at directing all the guests outside to set up a confetti tunnel immediately after the ceremony, which was a blast to capture (as always!) C&J didn't want a group shot of everyone and kept their "Mum's mantlepiece" photos quite brief, which meant everyone was able to head on back to the drinks reception pretty quickly.

After the family photos, we went for a little wander around the grounds with C&J, letting them have a few minutes together taking in the view and catching up after being apart all morning, before getting lots of natural shots of these two being all-round adorable together.

We spent around 20 minutes taking their couple portraits and then C&J headed back to their guests to enjoy a drink in the gorgeous sunshine. The patio was filled with everyone chatting away so we got stuck into taking candids (always one of our favourite things to do) and also headed to the wedding breakfast room to take some detail shots of the space during this time.

Following the drinks reception, there were funny, heartfelt speeches followed by the wedding breakfast with a unique twist - one guest from each table had been nominated to wear an apron and chef's hat and serve up the meat for their main meal, which was loads of fun!

While the main room was being turned around ready for the evening reception, the guests meandered back outside to the pretty patio area and we started on C&J's video guestbook, playing question roulette and getting to meet and chat with their wonderful guests.
For the evening, C&J had hired a The Anthemics to fill the dancefloor, provided pizzas and a grazing board along with a cute gin bar for their guests, all of which went down a treat! Their cake cutting was especially memorable as the whole thing split in half and toppled to the side when they tried to delicately slice into it. With things like that, it's all about attitude and these two were immediately laughing and making the best of the wonky cake!

Chloe and Jake had added our Late Night Extra to their package so we stayed with them until 10.30pm, focusing on their guests having a whale of a time dancing the night away.

What a wedding! Thanks again to all the incredible suppliers involved in bringing their vision to life, along with C&J for being a dream couple to capture. We had the best time!
