FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TIME CAPSULE?
Our current turnaround is 8 weeks for photography and 16 weeks for videography. If you book one of our photo packages, we'll also provide you with a 'sneak peak' from your gallery within 48 hours, so you have a selection to share on social media while you wait for the full gallery.
For engagement shoots, our photography turnaround is 4 weeks and videography is 8 weeks.

HOW DO I BOOK?
The first step is to complete our onboarding questionnaire below, or to contact us to check our availability for your date, and we'll talk you through it from there.
Once we have a completed questionnaire, we'll generate a contract and invoice for your deposit. When the deposit has been received and contract signed, your date is secure with us, yay!
WHEN/ HOW DO WE PAY?
We ask for a 20% deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance will become due 7 days before your wedding (you can pay this in as many or as few instalments as you'd like, whatever works best for you!) We prefer payment via bank transfer, and you'll find our bank details on the bottom of your invoice.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
We're based in Lancashire, though we are happy to travel all over the UK and further afield! For UK bookings over 2 hours away from our home base in Upholland, we usually charge a standard travel fee of £200 towards our fuel & accommodation costs. We will also stay locally the night before to make sure there are no delays on the morning of your special day.
For weddings beyond the UK, we offer bespoke destination packages based on your needs. Just get in touch with your plans for a bespoke quote!
DO WE MEET WITH YOU BEFOREHAND?
Included in every wedding package is a 'pre-wedding consultation'. We usually hold these via video call, around a month before your booking. During this meeting, we'll run through the timings of your day, to ensure we can stay as invisible as possible on the actual day, along with how we work, any ideas/ inspiration you'd like us to take on board, questions you might have and a general chat about what to expect.
We're also always happy to have a video chat if you'd like to get to know us a little better whilst researching which suppliers to book - we completely understand the need to be 100% comfortable with whoever captures your day, and meeting them beforehand is a huge part of that.

CAN YOU PROVIDE PHOTO ALBUMS/ MEMORY BOXES?
We absolutely can. If you'd like us to add these to any of our packages, just let us know. You can visit our album design page below for an idea of price (as it depends on the size of your album and number or photos you'd like included) and can even start the ordering process there.
IS DRONE FOOTAGE INCLUDED?
In our full-day wedding packages, drone footage is included (weather and flight restrictions, permitting).
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL?
First up, it's worth saying that this has never happened to us before! If we're booked for your date, we're 100% committed to being there, no matter what. That being said, we do have alternative shooters who we've worked with before and act as our 'in case of emergency' contacts, along with a network of photographers/ videographers we could reach out to for cover if it's ever needed.
Absolutely! We love dogs and we're more than happy to capture your furry friends on your special day.
DO WE HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A MEAL?
It's not a requirement in our contract but we'd hugely appreciate being included in your food plans for the day. Most venues will offer 'supplier meals' at a discounted rate, and we have no allergies/ dietary requirements to be aware of. Being provided a meal at your venue means we won't need to leave site for any reason and can be on hand for the whole day. If you're not able to provide us with a meal, we completely understand but might have to go elsewhere for up to 30 minutes (during your own wedding breakfast) to grab something to eat.
WILL YOU BE ABLE TO CAPTURE BOTH OF US GETTING READY?
There's no exact answer to this one, as it totally depends on your situation. If you're both getting ready in the same place, then chances are capturing both of your mornings won't be a problem. Both of us can also shoot photo or video, so we can split up and have one with each of you for your morning preparations before coming together for a first look (if you're having one) and your ceremony. This will depend on the distance of your prep locations to your venue, though. We're more than happy to go through all the options with you and figure out what will suit you and your day best - just reach out with your plans and we'll go from there!
