We headed back to the gorgeous Mitton Hall in Lancashire in May and were so excited to be back after capturing a few incredible days there in the past. This was our first visit of 2025 and one we won't be forgetting any time soon!
Victoria and Niall had booked our Pendulum package for both photography and videography, so Ben and I headed to Mitton Hall arriving 3 hours before their ceremony time and immediately flying the drone for a few shots before coming across the fabulous Victoria R Flowers setting up a pretty archway outside the ceremony room doors and decorating the room itself. V&N had chosen a blush pink theme, with newspapers designed by the groom himself (which also featured a shoutout to the small businesses they'd chosen for their day - so thoughtful), tonnes of candles, and a beautiful archway and overflowing top table arrangement.

While the room was still being decorated, we ventured up to Victoria who was getting ready with her bridal squad in the conference room. They had four separate hair and make-up artists to get everyone ready in the morning so the room was busy in the best kind of way. We introduced ourselves, captured a little of the action and then stole Victoria's dress and took it over to the King suite to photograph. Victoria didn't want any of the detail shots we'd normally do at this stage too, so this only took a few minutes and then we were back with the girls for a lovely morning.

Niall and his groomsmen arrived at the venue and got ready in a room downstairs and we captured their last few details - button holes, cufflinks, etc. - before leaving them to greet the guests who were starting to arrive in the sunshine.
Next, we got to the ceremony room and helped finish lighting the candles so we could take some photos and footage of the room all beautifully decorated before getting back upstairs.

Back with Victoria, her bridesmaids helped with her finishing touches, buttoning up the dress, spraying perfume and fixing her jewellery. The nerves were starting to kick in at this point!
It was ceremony time before we knew it! Victoria walked down the aisle to music from the string trio Them In The Corner, which was really stunning. Then these two absolutely flew through their vows, along with a lovely reading from Victoria's mum, and soon enough they were officially married, heading back down the aisle to cheers from all their guests.

We set up their confetti tunnel next - with over 100 guests it was a very long line but filled with so much energy! Confetti shots are always some of our favourites and these were no exception! After the children were all retrieved from the awesome wedding nanny the couple had hired to take care of them for the afternoon, we got everyone ready for a group shot of all the guests and then cracked on with V&N's formal group shots. They had quite a large selection of these but some of their bridal party helped round everyone up ready for each photo which was a huge help.
After the family formal photos, we did a mixture of bridal party ones, with the bridesmaids and Victoria's super special 'something blue' - her lovely friend Alana wearing a navy dress for the occasion!

The venue kindly brought canapes out to V&N while we were getting ready for their couple portraits and then we went for a super quick wander to get some photos of just the two of them together, as by this point they were more than ready to have a drink and chat with their guests. We spent about 10 minutes in total with them, taking some photos at the front of the gorgeous Mitton Hall and a few by the stream at the back, with plans to come back out for golden hour later if it made an appearance.

For the drinks reception, they had a friend playing guitar and singing (shout out to Dan Maylott Music) and the weather was absolutely glorious so all the guests were out on the patio with drinks in hand, enjoying the sunshine and relaxed vibes.

Once the ceremony room had been transformed for their wedding breakfast, we got some more detail shots of the room and tables and then captured V&N's epic wedding entrance, immediately followed by their speeches. Their were tonnes of tears, laughter and cheers during these, with the two best men giving separate speeches along with the Father of the Bride, Niall himself and even Victoria standing up to say a few words.
When Niall picked up the golf visors he'd bought from Junkyard Golf on their first date, promising they'd wear them again on their wedding day, the whole room (including us) was in absolute pieces. What a moment!

After the speeches and wedding breakfast were finished, we spent more time on guest candids. Some of the guys gathered together to smoke cigars and we'd already been pre-warned on their consultation call that V&N would like some photos of these, so we zoned in on them pretty quickly!

The light on the patio was absolutely stunning, so after letting the couple spend time with their guests, we asked if they wanted any more photos outside. V&N requested a champagne pop photo so the venue quickly grabbed a bottle and we headed back to the front of the building where the light was just peaking with just the two of them and these ended up being some of our favourite photos from the whole day!
After this, we spent 5 minutes in the beautiful hall inside as they asked for a photograph on the landing with the incredible chandelier. We'd taken similar photos at this venue and completely agree that it's a stunning setting for a portrait or two!

Their evening kicked off with a brilliant first dance, complete with confetti canons, and Tom Stone DJ & Sax Rebate kept the vibes and energy high with an absolutely packed dance floor. Thanks to all the brilliant suppliers involved - we loved capturing V&N's beautiful wedding.
