A beautiful, Spring wedding at the fantastic Wyresdale Park for Jasmine & Arran.
We arrived to find Jasmine getting ready in the North Wing, sitting with her heart-shaped shades on and bride themed cup in hand, fully prepared to enjoy her wedding morning. With her bridesmaids and bridesman, Jasmine had such a chilled start to the day, with lots of prosecco, hugs and her gorgeous sausage dog, Zeus, roaming about.
Heading upstairs, we captured her stunning, custom-made dress and a few quick detail shots, then spent some time back with the bride and even got a sweet PJ shot of her and her team reading the newspapers she'd created, before it was time to get dressed!
We also nipped over to the groom, Arran, for some candid shots of him and his groomsmen while their button holes were pinned on and they started greeting the arriving guests.
After a lovely reveal with the bridesmaids and bridesman upstairs, Jasmine's dad waited at the bottom of the stairs for his first look with her, which was so special to capture.
J&A chose to get married outside in the glorious spring sunshine and Wyresdale's beautiful ceremony garden was the perfect backdrop. They were several readings, personal vows and lots of happy tears to photograph, before an epic aisle exit and bubble confetti tunnel - where the bride was surprised by her hockey girls holding up their sticks for the newlyweds to pass under.
Next, we made our way through their list of 'formal' family photos, keeping things as quick as possible, although we did venture back to the ceremony garden for a couple of editorial portraits with the bridal party. Also, we're officially recommending parasols to every single couple after these shots - they add a level of class that we absolutely adore.
For their drinks reception, J&A and their guests spent their time mingling in the courtyard with lots of Aperol Spritz and the fantastic Spencer on sax (@spencer.sax). The weather was honestly ideal and the whole setting was giving summer party vibes.
While their guests were being seated in the newly-refurbished white barn, we took them for a wander around the stunning grounds for 20 minutes, giving them some time to just be together while also capturing their couple portraits. These two were an absolute dream and though they'd initially asked for all natural shots, they ended up having loads of fun and throwing a few poses in themselves, which was a total joy for us to shoot.
After a grand entrance to their wedding breakfast and meal, they had several awesome speeches bringing a mixture of laughter and even more tears, before their evening officially began. While their DJ was setting up and guests were relaxing after the meal, we ventured down to the lake with J&A for a quick boat trip - in their words, "If it's here, why wouldn't we give it a go?!"
Finally, it was time for their cake cutting and first dance, with more saxophone joining in before the dance floor started booming. We always love a bit of live music on a wedding day and this was no exception.
From start to finish, Jasmine & Arran's day was full of joy - a brilliant balance of fun and emotional, and we loved every single minute.
